A CYPFS Story – Gamze Kiran, Istanbul Turkey

Gamze, our dynamic CYPFS leader was thrilled to share with us her successful delivery of the career module – “My Life and Career Pathway Plan” workshop with Year 9 and Year 10 students aged 14 and 15, with one of the Rotary Clubs in Istanbul, Turkey

 
I had 17 students and 4 teachers participate in the workshop. These students are a remarkable team who are working on STEM competitions and were the winners of Robotics Highest Rookie Seed and Rookie Inspiration awards in Turkey. The workshop ran very smoothly, and the students were all highly engaged and contributed a great deal to the success of the weekend. The teachers who attended were impressed with the content and commented how useful the Coaching Young People for Success program would be for them to be able to help students in the future.
